Annual Meeting

Councillor Nigel Reeves, Chair of the Council for 2025/26 presented the Chair’s Annual Report at the Annual Town Meeting held on Tuesday 26th May 2026.

At the Annual Town Council Meeting, which followed the Annual Town Meeting, Councillor David Ellis was elected as Chair of the Town Council for 2026/27 and Councillor Julie Brereton was elected as Vice Chair.

Committees:

•  Personnel Committee – Councillors Atkin, Ball, Price and Reeves. (Councillors Brereton and Ellis ex-officio and Councillor Evans as a substitute member)

(c)  Birchwood Carnival Committee – Councillors Atkin, B. Dhillon, Price and Simcock
